Click to download the Team Sponsorship Form The Miami Lakes Optimist Flag Football League is a volunteer-based, non-profit sports program run with the help of the Town of Miami Lakes and the NFL Flag. Approximately 450 players and 50 teams take part in our program each season. Support for our programs has been one of the keys to our success. We hope you will also work to help the youth of our community through team sponsorship. The cost of sponsoring a team starts at a modest $400. Team sponsorship options include the placing of the name of your company on the uniforms of all team players, a logo presence on our website (see below), and the issuance of a plaque at the season's closing award ceremonies. Additional opportunities will be provided for sponsors to distribute advertisements at our weekly games at Royal Oaks Park. Team sponsors have no further responsibility as all supervision, equipment, insurance and fees are handled by MIA Flag. Additional sponsorship options include the company logo or sponsor's company name displayed on the Optimist Club's digital sign located on the corner of NW 67th Ave and Miami Lakeway North. This sign is viewed by an average of 58,000 motorists daily. The Miami Lakes Optimist Club provides a service to over 3,000 girls and boys each year. Programs include Flag Football, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, and Scholarship Awards. Community participation, whether assisting as coaches, volunteers, or financial assistance by sponsoring teams, is vital to the continued success of all of our programs.
